Overview

Ingress IT Solutions (doing business as Ingress IT Services, "Ingress," "we," "our," or "us") is a Virginia-based professional services firm providing cloud transformation, data analytics, artificial intelligence implementation, IT staffing, and digital strategy advisory services to federal agencies, state and local governments, and commercial enterprises.

This Privacy Policy describes how Ingress collects, uses, stores, and discloses information obtained through our website located at ingressits.com (the "Site"), our booking and scheduling systems, and related communication channels. By accessing or using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the practices described herein.

Scope: This policy applies solely to information collected by Ingress through the Site and its associated digital touchpoints. It does not govern information collected under separate client engagement agreements, statements of work, or federal contract instruments, which are subject to their own data handling provisions.

Information We Collect

We collect information in two primary categories: information you voluntarily provide, and information collected automatically through your use of the Site.

Information You Provide Directly

Contact details submitted through our inquiry, booking, or scheduling forms, including your name, business email address, phone number, job title, and organization name
The substance of messages, questions, project descriptions, or topic summaries you submit through contact or intake forms
Correspondence you initiate with us via email or other digital channels linked from the Site
Information provided in connection with scheduling a discovery call or initial consultation, including preferred dates, times, and meeting context

Information Collected Automatically

Standard server log data, including IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, and pages visited
Session-level analytics data, including time on page, navigation paths, and interaction events, collected through analytics tools we operate or license
Device and connection metadata necessary to render the Site correctly and maintain service integrity

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, including Social Security numbers, financial account credentials, health or medical data, or government-issued identification numbers through the Site. If you inadvertently submit such information, please notify us immediately at connect@ingressits.com so that we may delete it promptly.

How We Use Information

Ingress uses information collected through the Site for the following purposes:

To respond to your inquiries and facilitate initial consultations or discovery calls in connection with potential engagement
To evaluate alignment between your stated requirements and our service capabilities, and to route your inquiry to the appropriate practice area or team member
To send transactional communications directly related to an inquiry or meeting you have requested, including calendar invitations and confirmation messages
To maintain and improve the functionality, performance, and security of the Site
To comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations, including obligations arising under our GSA Multiple Award Schedule contract
To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent, unauthorized, or abusive use of the Site

We do not use information collected through the Site for automated profiling, behavioral advertising, or the sale of personal data to third parties. We do not send unsolicited marketing communications without your prior affirmative consent.

Disclosure of Information

Ingress does not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties. We may disclose information in the following limited circumstances:

Service providers: We engage vetted third-party vendors to support Site operations, including calendar scheduling infrastructure, email delivery, and analytics platforms. These vendors are authorized to process data solely on our behalf and are bound by appropriate confidentiality obligations
Legal compliance: We may disclose information when required to do so by applicable law, regulation, judicial order, or lawful governmental process, including in connection with our federal contracting obligations
Protection of rights: We may disclose information where necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Ingress, our personnel, our clients, or the public
Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all assets, information held by us may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to equivalent privacy protections

Federal and Government Clients: Information shared with Ingress in connection with a government engagement is handled in accordance with applicable federal privacy statutes, agency-specific data handling requirements, and the terms of the governing contract vehicle.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by applicable law or our contractual obligations. Inquiry and scheduling data is generally retained for a period of twenty-four (24) months following initial collection, after which it is securely deleted or de-identified. Records required to be maintained under our GSA MAS contract or other regulatory instruments are retained in accordance with the applicable retention schedule.

Security

Ingress implements administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Our security practices are informed by industry frameworks including NIST SP 800-53 and are reviewed on a regular basis consistent with our federal contracting posture.

All data transmitted to and from the Site is encrypted in transit via TLS. Access to personal data within our systems is restricted to personnel with a legitimate operational need.

While we maintain rigorous security controls, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and disclaim liability for unauthorized access resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Third-Party Services

The Site may integrate with or link to third-party platforms, including Microsoft Teams (for meeting infrastructure), calendar scheduling services, and analytics providers. These integrations are necessary to deliver the services you request. Each third party's collection and use of data is governed by that party's own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review. Ingress is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party platforms.

Your Rights
